Pets bring a lot of joy — and a lot of hair. Even in tidy homes, pet hair and dander build up in places regular cleaning doesn’t reach.
Where pet hair and dander collect
- Carpet edges and under furniture
- Sofas and cushions, especially in the seams
- Skirting boards and radiators
- Air vents and extractor covers
- Stairs and hallway corners
- Behind doors and under beds
Tackling odours
Most pet odours live in soft furnishings and carpets. Regular vacuuming helps, but carpet cleaning (£30 per room) and upholstery cleaning (from £45) go much deeper.
Muddy paws and marks
Hallways, back doors and kitchen floors take the brunt. Doors, frames and lower walls often pick up marks too.
Tips between cleans
- Brush pets regularly, ideally outside
- Wash pet bedding weekly
- Keep a towel by the door for muddy walks
- Vacuum high-traffic areas a few times a week
Booking a deep clean with pets
Let us know about pets when you book so we can allow the extra time, and if possible keep them in another room or out of the house while we work.
