The party was great. The morning after, less so. Sticky floors, spilled drinks, a kitchen full of dishes and a bathroom that’s seen better days.
Deal with spills first
The sooner spills on carpets and upholstery are treated, the better the chance of removing them. Blot (don’t rub) liquid spills and avoid hot water on protein-based stains.
Then work room by room
- Kitchen — clear, wash up, wipe surfaces and degrease the hob
- Bathroom — clean and sanitise toilets, basins and floors
- Living areas — collect glasses, wipe surfaces and vacuum
- Floors — sticky hard floors often need mopping more than once
When to call in help
If the clean-up is bigger than a morning’s work — or the house needs to be back to normal quickly — a deep clean gets everything back to a proper standard in one go.
One of our customers put it simply after booking a deep clean following a party: the house “looked brand new”.
