A clean office matters more than most businesses realise. It affects how staff feel about coming to work, what visitors think when they walk in, and how quickly illnesses spread around the team. So what should a professional office clean include?
Desks and workspaces
- Desks and surfaces wiped down (we work around paperwork and equipment)
- Phones, keyboards and high-touch points wiped
- Chairs and meeting tables cleaned
Kitchens and breakout areas
- Worktops, sinks and taps cleaned
- Microwaves, kettles and appliance exteriors wiped
- Tables and chairs cleaned
- Bins emptied and relined
Washrooms and toilets
- Toilets, urinals and basins cleaned and sanitised
- Mirrors and chrome polished
- Floors mopped
- Consumables checked (if agreed)
Floors
Carpets vacuumed, hard floors swept and mopped — including edges and under desks where accessible. Deeper carpet cleaning is available at £30 per room.
Entrances and reception
First impressions count. Entrance areas, reception desks, glass doors and partitions are kept clean and presentable.
Dusting and details
- Skirting boards, window sills and fixtures dusted
- Glass partitions and windows spot-cleaned
- Light switches and door handles sanitised
Agree the scope up front
Every workplace is different, so a good cleaning company will agree exactly what’s included, how often, and at what times — and put a straightforward price on it.
